How many of us can honestly say that we enjoy our work? Even more importantly, how many of us enjoy the people that we work with? I’ll bet not many!
Perhaps a tad on the philosophical side, but at Redline we make choices everyday that are in line with a culture that – we hope – makes our work experience an enjoyable one. Ultimately, business is all about the bottom-line, and it’s the way in which we generate the bottom line that really matters. Or is it?
Absolutely! At Redline we believe that our culture and work ethic is the basis of our solid organisation. And it starts with the people we work alongside – including customers. Over our 11 years, we’ve built up an amazing team of staff who comprehend the nature of our services on offer, and who buy into our work ethic of honesty and integrity.
In a highly competitive logistics industry, setting Redline apart from conventional courier companies remains an ongoing challenge. Oddly enough, the challenge starts at home. Do we as Redline absolutely understand and appreciate what we offer to market? And can our staff sell our concept? Not everyone has the natural ability to be a slick salesperson – but everyone can at least buy into the culture of our business, which if outlined and communicated effectively, should translate into an effective means of differentiation.
Handling delicate cargo, working within tight deadlines on marketing campaigns, transporting and setting up mall displays, brand activations – these being some of the logistics services Redline offers to market. However, it remains the “behind the scenes” culture that makes us different.
We believe in working with colleagues, and customers for that matter, who we feel add value to our ethic of keeping it simple and making it happen. We believe in a balanced lifestyle, and we believe in our people. And as any business should, we also believe in making our business successful.
